As our workload continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Lead Carpenterwho takes pride in their work, enjoys leading a team and wants to build a long-term career with a company that genuinely values its people.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading a team of carpenters and apprentices while setting the standard through your own workmanship.
- Working on the tools alongside your team, completing high-quality carpentry work and assisting wherever required.
- Coordinating and overseeing day-to-day site activities to keep projects running safely, efficiently and on schedule.
- Reading and interpreting plans and specifications.
- Ensuring projects are completed to the highest standard of quality and workmanship.
- Maintaining site safety, organisation and productivity.
- Working closely with Managers and Directors to deliver successful outcomes.
- Liaising professionally with subcontractors, suppliers and clients.
- Identifying and resolving on-site challenges proactively.
- Promoting a positive, team-focused culture where everyone takes pride in their work
About You
You are someone who:
- Is a qualified Carpenter with substantial industry experience.
- Has previous experience as a Leading Hand or Site Supervisor.
- Takes genuine pride in producing high-quality work.
- Leads by example and earns the respect of those around you.
- Is organised, proactive and able to solve problems independently.
- Communicates professionally with clients, subcontractors and fellow team members.
- Understands the importance of safety, quality and attention to detail.
- Holds a current White Card and Australian Driver's Licence.
