The Service Technician will be responsible for performing both scheduled and emergency service work, including the disassembly, overhaul, repair, testing, and inspection of a variety of Xylem systems and products. The Field Service Technician will perform routine field services and repairs on Xylem products, with a focus on Godwin diesel pump sets.  Holding a mechanical trade qualification (Trade Qualification as a Diesel Mechanic), you like to troubleshoot, are solutions-focused, can operate in a safety-first manner, and provide exceptional Customer support.

Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled and emergency repairs on Xylem equipment at customer sites and in the workshop.

• Install, test, and maintain pumps and systems to meet operational standards before dispatch.

• Communicate clearly with customers and internal teams, offering expert advice and service feedback.

• Disassemble, clean, assess, and rebuild systems to restore full functionality.

• MR and forklift license (highly desirable)

• Prepare and maintain accurate service reports and documentation in a timely manner.

The Salvation Army's Kalgoorlie Youth Services team is seeking a compassionate and engaging Drive for Life Instructor to support young people aged 16-25 who are working to overcome barriers and build independence. This role is ideal for someone with a background in youth work, social work, community services or similar fields, who is passionate about empowering young people and helping them develop confidence, capability and safe driving skills.

You will deliver learner driver education within a supportive, youth-centered environment, helping young people feel safe, encouraged and ready to take the next step toward gaining their provisional licence. Applicants with strong youth engagement skills are highly encouraged to apply.

What the job actually looks like

Your day starts in the yard, helping keep things clean, safe and organised. You’ll be loading and unloading trucks, picking and packing orders so they’re spot on, and then jumping in an automatic HR (8‑tonne) truck to complete local deliveries.

Back at the warehouse, there’s a bit of basic computer work to process orders and handle stock, plus mucking in wherever the team needs an extra pair of hands.

The pace is steady, the work is physical without being over the top, and the day goes quickly.

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and personable Junior Receptionist / Office All Rounder to join our team at BAH Hennekers' Airconditioning in Kalgoorlie, WA. This is a part-time position where you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional front-of-house and administrative support to our ever-growing business. Full time opportunities are available for the right candidate.

What you'll be doing

• Greeting clients and visitors with a warm, friendly and professional manner

• Managing the front reception area and overseeing the daily flow of inquiries, both in person and via phone.

• Providing efficient and effective administrative support across a range of tasks, including data entry, filing, ordering supplies and assisting with general office duties

• Working collaboratively with the wider team to contribute to the smooth running of the office

• Handling confidential information with the utmost discretion

• Liaising with clients and trades to schedule/process workflows.

• Online social media management (under supervision) and ensuring online feedback/enquiries are met and actioned.

• Working with senior staff to manage and operate MYOB systems and Invoicing/Purchasing.

• Typical 8am-4pm office working hours, with the occasional Saturday morning (9-12pm) shift during summer seasons.

• Undertaking any other reasonable duties as required (Cleaning, Dusting, Office tidy up etc).

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a similar receptionist or front-of-house role, ideally within an office or administrative environment

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a polished and professional telephone manner

• Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail, with the capacity to multi-task and prioritise effectively

• Competent in the use of standard office software such as Microsoft Office suite and MYOB (On the job training provided)

• Competent use of Service Software used for scheduling and managing the customer base. (On the job training provided)

About the Role

A great opportunity exists for an Airconditioning Installer (Evaporative) to join the team at BAH Hennekers

in Kalgoorlie on a permanent full-time basis to install rooftop evaporative airconditioning units.

If you’re one of the following trades, would likely suit your talents:

Plumber, Carpenter, Refrigeration mechanic , Electrician, Sheet Metal Fabricator

In this role, you will be primarily responsible for the following :

• Travelling to site to install (all new) or replace existing, Evaporative Airconditioning, including componentry

• Install and Commission Evaporative Airconditioning systems, Dropper Boxes, Roof Flashings, Ducting and Outlets.

• Assist in the installation of Refrigeration units (as required)

• Assist in workshop fabrication of sheet metal and AC related components.

The secondary aspect would be servicing of evaporative AC unit and other works as required.
