Eagle Petroleum (WA) Pty Ltd is a locally owned bulk fuel, oil and lubricant provider with a strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our busy team.
About the Role
This full-time role involves inhouse servicing of our mobile fleet as well as workshop and offsite mechanical support. You will be working a 50+ hour week (with flexibility considered). Pay is based on experience, and all Eagle employees receive fuel discounts.
This is an excellent opportunity for a work/life balance, with the role based in Kalgoorlie – allowing you to be home every night.
Key Responsibilities

Perform maintenance, repairs and breakdown services in our workshop and offsite

Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems

Component replacement, refurbishment and fabrication across various machinery

Support multi-disciplinary workshop and yard operations

Complete accurate service reports, repair orders and parts usage records

Deliver quality workmanship in line with manufacturer guidance

Maintain safe work practices and adhere to OH&S requirements

Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:

Australian recognised Trade Certification (Diesel Mechanic or equivalent)

Proven experience in diagnostics, servicing and repairs across light and heavy vehicles

Sound knowledge of hydraulics and electrical systems

Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills

Computer literacy with diagnostic software and standard PC programs

Manual driver’s licence (essential)

MC licence and forklift licence (preferred)

Physically fit, motivated, and able to work both autonomously and in a team

Additional Requirements
