About the Role 

We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join our team at Kalgas Energy Services in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia. This full-time role will involve performing a variety of electrical installation, electrical and instrumentation and gas fitting tasks to support our operations in the mining and energy services industry. Working on a range of equipment such as Gas Turbines/Engines, Kilns, Smelting Furnaces, Industrial Dryers, Gas Supplier Installations and much more, from design and installation to servicing.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

• Electrical installation, maintenance and repair work

• Repairs, maintenance and servicing of industrial and commercial oil and gas fired appliances

• Installation and maintenance servicing of natural gas and LPG supply pipework

• Installation, commissioning and servicing of gas engine power generators

• Inspection and maintenance of Steam Boilers

What we're looking for

• Trade qualified electrician with a current WA registered electrical license

• Instrumentation experience

• WA Class I Gasfitting Permit (desirable)

• Experience in Mining and Industrial applications

• Unencumbered WA ‘C’ class drivers’ licence

• High attention to detail

• Reliable

• Availability to travel to remote sites

• Able to pass regular drug and alcohol screening
