Bega Garnbirringu Health Service (BGHS) is seeking an experienced and creative Communications & Publications Officer to support the organisation’s communication and publication needs. This role will facilitate, develop, implement and review a range of communication strategies to achieve organisational objectives and strengthen community engagement.
Demonstrated experience in a communications and publications role, including the ability to design, develop and publish a variety of print and digital materials.
High-level oral and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff and liaise effectively with key stakeholders.
Strong computer literacy, including proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office applications.
Demonstrated ability to uphold principles of cultural safety, including effective and sensitive communication with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Current Working with Children Check.
National Criminal History Check (Police Clearance – valid within the last 3 months).
WA ‘C’ Class Driver Licence.
