The Cultural and Clinical Lead reports directly to the Manager SEWB and plays a key leadership role within the Social and Emotional Wellbeing (SEWB) Team. This position is responsible for providing both cultural and clinical guidance, offering supervision, and ensuring high-quality SEWB service delivery for Bega clients.
Liaise and maintain effective working relationships with a diverse range of organisations and stakeholder groups
Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients as required
Maintain close working relationships with all BGHS employees
Work closely with, and report directly to, the Manager Social Support
Tertiary qualification in Psychology or a related field, with eligibility for professional registration with the appropriate Australian regulatory body
Proven ability to provide clinical leadership and supervision for mental health and SEWB workforce
Demonstrated experience in people management and the ability to empower staff to achieve program outcomes and improved service delivery
Proven capability in improving organisational effectiveness and efficiency
High-level communication and interpersonal skills
Flexibility to undertake regular regional travel
National Police Clearance (within 3 months)
Current WA Working with Children Check
Current WA “C” Class Driver’s Licence (or equivalent)
Strong commitment to Aboriginal Social and Emotional Wellbeing and high-quality customer service
Knowledge of SEWB issues impacting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples
Current AHPRA registration
Understanding of the Australian mental health service system and key reform drivers at State and Federal levels
Experience in leading continuous quality improvement processes, including collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to enhance practice standards and service outcomes
Strong skills in managing stakeholder relationships across government, non-government, and community organisations
37.5-hour work week (Monday–Friday)
