About the role

Davies Developments are seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our dynamic team in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia. This full-time position will see you play a vital role in the construction and maintenance of residential, mining and commercial buildings. As a Carpenter at Davies Developments, you will be responsible for skilled hands-on work, utilising your expertise to deliver high-quality results.

What you'll be doing

1. Reading and interpreting building plans and specifications

2. Performing multifaceted carpentry work

3. Collaborating with the team to ensure timely and efficient project completion

4. Providing on-site supervision and training to junior team members

5. Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment in accordance with company policies

What we're looking for

1. Formal qualification in Carpentry or a related building trade

2. Minimum 3 years' experience as a Carpenter in a similar role

3. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials and building codes

4. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills

5. Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently

6. A commitment to safety and a proactive approach to risk management

7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

8. Must have C - Class Drivers License, Police Clearance & Tools required for the job, First Aid & Fit for Work Medical desirable.
