We are seeking a dedicated Aboriginal Health Practitioner to join our friendly and supportive team. This role aims to improve the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people by providing comprehensive, culturally safe, and holistic primary health care.
You will provide quality health care services including assessment, treatment, case management, and follow-up care.
About You
Essential:

Certificate IV in Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care (Practice)

Current AHPRA registration as an Aboriginal Health Practitioner
-
Strong communication skills with Aboriginal people and communities
-
Understanding of health issues impacting Aboriginal people
-
Experience working in a team environment with good conflict management skills
-
Good computer, written, and organisational skills
-
Current Working with Children Check (WA) and National Police Clearance (within 3 months)

Current WA “C” Class Driver’s Licence
Desirable:
-
Experience in Community or Aboriginal Health

Current Immunisation Certificate and Phlebotomy competency

Experience using Communicare or similar clinical systems
-
Willingness to travel for Outreach (up to 4 nights when required)
